How do I capture a photo with sound?
Tap the shutter to take a photo. Hold it to record sound and generate a text record. On the detail page you can play the recording and edit the text, or keep a photo on its own. Transcription may contain errors; review it as needed.
Why does the app need permissions?
Camera access is used for capture, microphone access for recording, and photo access for import and saving. On iOS, speech recognition permission is used for transcription and location permission for optional photo locations. You can change permissions in system settings.
How is a Live Photo different from a sound record?
Supported iOS devices can capture Live Photos consisting of a photo and a paired motion video. The sound record created by holding the shutter is a separate recording. Live Photos can play in supported viewers and be saved to the system library through export options. Availability depends on the device and OS.
Can transcription and photo search work offline?
iOS uses on-device recognition when supported; otherwise the system may need a network connection and Apple's service. Photo content recognition runs on-device. You can also search record text. Recognition and search results may be inaccurate.
How does iCloud sync work, and what if it is incomplete?
On iOS, sign in to the same Apple Account and allow Pailiji to use iCloud for automatic sync of photos, sound, text and Live Photo motion. Check your account, app iCloud access, network, available iCloud space and app version, then reopen the app and allow time for sync. Export important content first; avoid uninstalling to troubleshoot before confirming sync is complete.
How can I manage photo locations?
Record Location is off by default on iOS. You can enable it and choose approximate or precise mode. Location may be written into photo metadata and travel with sync, original exports or sharing. Turning it off does not remove location from existing photos. Imported images may already contain location.
How do I restore purchases or cancel a subscription?
On iOS, use Restore Purchases on the Pro page and make sure the App Store uses the account that made the purchase. Manage renewal in system Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Prices, trial eligibility and renewal terms are shown by the App Store.
Can I recover deleted records?
You can restore records from the recycle bin within its 30-day retention window, or permanently delete them earlier. Expired records are permanently removed during app cleanup. When iCloud is available, deletion and restoration sync across devices. Copies in the system library or exported files must be managed separately.
How do I save or share records?
You can export instant-photo-style cards, originals and supported Live Photos, or send content through system sharing. Available formats and features are shown in the current export interface. Exported cards or ZIP files may not include complete recordings and all record data; check that the files you need are saved.
